Shining through

The clouds
Form across
The blue sky
Creating patterns
Into the horizon

They leave
The sun
Lonely
Trapped
Behind

Its light
Crashes through
The trees
Sharp and
Shining through

the photograph of the clouds is so soft and mesmerising. i find clouds beautiful and in this one they remind me of the sea. the one of the sun, reminds me of woods and bryan adams. :) beautiful, beautiful, beautiful!!
The middle stanza is sad and true...
...but the last stanza is powerful and positive. can't keep a good guy down. :)
its a worth-the-wait post.

Awesome photograph of the clouds!!

Like the way you say -
"Its light
Crashes through" - well put.

The photographs win hands down this time, but the words rise and fall beautifully.

The clouds of course are great, but I especially appreciate the light through the trees. Spent a lot of time looking up at that sight in earlier years, and your picture catches it well.

Wonderful! I think this is the best post yet: The combination of words and images.

The clouds and trees are a wonderful contrast. The first light, the other dark.

I like the "As above, so below" aspect and the light from above crashing through the trees.

Very good post :-)

I always love how you pair pictures and poems. My only question: which comes first? You have captured those pictures beautifully. Well done!

Would you believe if I told you that I saw such an image first hand? I was taking a 30 minute connecting flight from chicago to a small town nearby called peoria. The plane was very small, I would say a maximum capacity of 100 people, so the plane couldnt fly higher than 15000 feet. It was a cloudy day, hence the plane was just a few feet above the clouds. Looking out through the window, I was taken aback at the beauty of the cloud formation. I thougt snow capped mountains were the most beautiful thing but the clouds won hands down. Thanks for the image. Im reliving it right now in my minds eye. Not to forget, the beautiful verses along with the photo. Neat! Btw, landed here from another blog. You have great talent buddy. Keep em coming.
