Silver lining

Today, the setting sun divided the sky into two halves. These two halves had two very different colours. They spoke of the division of night and day. These divisions metaphorically meant many things to many people. But all I could see was the silver lining.

WOW what an amazing picture! Makes me think of the duality of life. Life can be so dark and yet life can be so light and beautiful.

Anyway, such a beautiful photo! Great one!

How did you get the picture??? It's beautiful! So few people in the world can see that tiny lining with their naked eye, you must be pretty special, I am jealous, that lining tends to elude me.

Life is filled with brilliant scenes that most of us only get to enjoy for a moment. Thank you for capturing this one and saving it to share it with us.

endlessecho - Yes, it is good to be an optimist. There is more to life that way. :-)

Garrison Steelle - Yes, timing is everything. You should see the number of discarded shots to get this one right. But it was worth it.

luz de la luna - Yes, that is exactly what I was feeling. Thanks.

Jessica - I saw a beautiful sight and kept clicking away and somehow managed to capture one that was so beautiful and striking. I was so amazed when I saw it that I kept staring for sometime.

Diva Drip - You are welcome. Glad you enjoyed this one.

Sudarshan - Yes, very explosive.

atomicvelvetsigh - Thanks for dropping by and for your comment. Will visit you shortly.

Pincushion - Thanks. The silver lining was everything.

I would say the duality between the dark and light, the glowing sun through the cloud's rough edges, reveal a lining we call "silver" - silver, if you will, is the way we experience joy and fulfillment now...but those silver joys may eventually be "unfiltered" gold.

Bittersweet photo. :)

Thanks for the comment on my painting of 'melting sun'..but I deleted it, cos I thought it hadn't come out too well, but along with it your comment got deleted too! hadn't wanted your comment to disappear :(, I have redone it, and I so hope you'd have a look again, want to know what you think of it now, if it isn't too much of a bother...Thank you !
