Shapes and signs

The 'shapes of travel' appear every time I look up before embarking on a journey. It's not the same shape every time, but there is a kind of symbolism to it. It's almost like a sign, but the only thing is that it appears after the journey has begun.

Sometimes, I wonder why I look upwards before starting a journey? Is it the endless possibilities of travel? Is it something deep down inside or just a habit? And how come I don't notice any shapes when the journey is ending?

Somehow, you don't look up when the journey is over. You don't see the shapes. You don't see the signs. Maybe you are too caught up in thinking about the past, or getting ready to face the future.

You seem to travel a lot! Lucky you! :)

I don't pay attention to such things when I am about to board. All I want is the plane to take off and land and then do what i'm supposed to do! But it's just me! lol

...those goodbye glances are always the best- for me it's the anticipation of missing what I know- the hope that somehow it will become new again.

Perhaps, when you return, you are facing toward home. When you begin any sort of travel, you are facing the world.

I always like your pictures they seem so simple to find but yet you have to be looking to see them.

Maybe you anticipate the journey before it begins, hence the shapes of thought. At the end, perhaps the shapes have internalized into inner relections, as the outside world has been stored inside you.

I look up too. I see the signs too. But at times, I just ignore them. I don’t read the signs. Don’t interpret them. Miss the opportunity. And realise it all at the end of the journey, when I’m pensive again!
