The rediscovery of music

Twilight
Night lights
The familiar
Music started to play
After years

The words
I want to
Playing
Again
And again

I can feel
Myself
Tearing down
The walls
That bind me

I can touch
The flame
I can see
The dust cloud
Disappear

I can see
Old love
Turn to
Rust
Beaten

I can feel
The light on
My face
Again
And again

I go
There
With you
It’s all
I can do

I am where
The streets
Have
No name
None

The tear
Rolls down
I want to feel
It again
And again

Inspired in a momentary lapse of consciousness by U2’s Where The Streets Have No Name.

One of my favorite songs. Sometimes your writing just blows me away!

That song does something to me...all inhibition is lost...I want to leave everything that seems to hold be back from living the life I envision.

I also like U2's "Bad".

here is what one critic said about U2 and i completely agree with him .m sure any U2 fan would
"Some bands have greatness thrust upon them, and other bands thrust greatness upon themselves. U2 knew that if they had it both ways, they could be bigger than Jesus. You simply cannot deny that they come in the name of love."-Jonathan Valania

Hey... the anonymous person came back again for a visit...And loved your latest post. The structure and the compact neatness of thought complement each other well. No lose ends especially if ,as Akshay said, you read it while the song plays in the background. Beautiful.

As for loosin my anonymity...my site is http://lapicide.rediffblogs.com. And hi,I'm Ellipses M:)
