Unnoticed

I hide
Behind my eyes
Visions
Of magnificence

I hide
Behind my thoughts
Feelings
Of freedom

I hide
Behind my dreams
An imagination
Of decadence

My visions, feelings and imagination
Make
The magnificence of freedom almost decadent
That they need to hide
Behind my
Eyes, thoughts and dreams

hi ...

i liked ur verses , esp the
"

That they need to hide
Behind my
Eyes, thoughts and dreams

"
they remind me of closed boxes and that school of thought !

by the way , thanx for dropping in ....
would like to know what that " Interesting " comment was for ...

You may hide them, but you let small pieces of wisdom escape with the pictures you post and the words you create to accompany them.

Upon a couple of readings, one can lift the veil off the school of words, & find an insightful thought, that would perhaps make for an interesting dialogue...but wont encumber your poetry with the sword of analysis on what lies behind..

that is wounderful ..........u can use words in the way that can't come 2 my mind easily ...u are creative mashallah ...and pls dont 4get 2 tell me about ur secret with augest ok???by the way i love january most cos i was born in 20th of january :)

It is so easy to hide behind ourselves, or within ourselves. We feel safe.

Hey, A, almost 1 year! Congratulations, and amazing work (as it continues to be amazing!).

I'm particularly partial to August (as it is my birth month), so it is an auspicious name. What are you going to do with your counter now?

By the way, I have been steadily reading (although not commenting every time). I love the photos you've added; it adds a whole new dimension.

Congratulations on great work, and keep it up! You are an inspiration!

great combination of image and words, as always. :-)

This one didn't have the emotional impact of the others, for me, but maybe because I didn't relate to it all that well :-)

and i really liked it too. wonder why... Reminded me of a friend, who says behind her veil is a real woman who dreams and lives her dreams.

The writing is lovely to say the least but what blew me away was the unbelievable and exquisitely perfect juxtaposition of the image and the poem. :)

Intriguing. ^_^

The title is most apt. To go by "unnoticed"... Hmm. There's a certain species of comfort in that.

Reminds me of my Psychology class long ago, where things are not as simple as they seem to appear.

"Visions Of magnificence;" "imaginationof decadence." Great lines!

Have you checked ou "Life as Art" at my site? It has a similar (but less reserved) theme. I imagine you might like it.

Also, I have another post up at my site if you want to stop by. Thanks again for your interest!

isnt it funny how some places are internationally anonymous. little spheres of your world in every corner of the world.
