Frozen in time

We are all frozen in time.

This time before time. Where memories flash by, picture by picture. The puzzle comes together to form now. And now is when we go back. In a flash. We are back in time. Frozen once again. But in a different time. A different universe.

The greatest drama unfolds its arms to welcome you. To reel you in. Slowly at first, then all of a sudden. And you are there. You are frozen. You are here.

Everything else melts.

if time can be frozen I would love to be with u at the time where you hold the camera so still on your subject and the focus that you give it is magical

I'm confused. Are you Rahul Bose or aren't you? Or are you Upamanyu Chatterjee?

Why am I asking? Just curious. Pretty site.

jawaher - We all do. And it does.

Minkey Chief - Thanks for dropping by. Sorry, but I don't answer any questions related to my identity. ;-)

In time, in history

i came
i read
i'm frozen
by the truth of the words

this always happens in those rare moments when "perfection" happens

the pic has a gr8 effect

I tried not to read the words, and let the picture speak for itself. This is what it said to me:

"The water distorts the image, like a curtain on a window. I see a doorknob, opening to a moment in time. Be careful not to enter the moment too quickly."

there are moments when i want time to freeze and there are moments wheni want it to move over in the fast forward mode. But that never happens. And thats what makes life interesting.
After all, life doesnt have a remote control.

.:A:.... the issue here is that mine is SLR (Nikon F65), and for that i need to get rolls completed and then get it developed and get it digitized... a long process for which i am short of time :((
will keep this experiment in mind... infact i'll be trying quite a few you have already tried.
will post when i do :)

i'd love it if someone introduces u to a world called 'lucidity' and have u write some posts that belong there:)...
liked the picture...found the words cryptic...took me 2 reads to comprehend it(and am still not sure)..

Anonymous said...

Yeah...thats another trademark post....all there yet not quite there....Though the relative ambiguity is indeed compelling. The frozen contents are making me crave for an icecream right now !!!

www.gyspsynan.blogspot.com- its soooooooo not rorschach.rememeber they are essentially ink-blots.

Frozen there, while here, frozen here.

I always wonder what triggers us to freeze in time.

Frozen in drama, yet fluid in thought; enjoy the time, enjoy the moment, stay here, you choose where you want to be.

Gypsy Girl - Thanks. :-)

Tried the pic-through-a-glass, and got some not so encouraging comments. A bouquet looked like salad to some, and spring rolls to others :p

finnegan - There definitely is!

Casablanca - The beauty of it is to get different perspectives. Don't get discouraged.
