Wow, gorgeous shot, I posted some Oregon sunsets recently, but now I am thinking I need to visit the coast and get some there. Every now and again we get a glimpse of the aurora borialis (sp?) but I never can grab my camera before it is gone away. Hmmph. Anyway, nice shot.
The last one almost has a lightning sort of look. Ack the sky is raining fire. Run away!
you got it quite perfect. in fact, the second one, with its somewhat grainy resolution looks ever so much like a painting i have in mind...
